The Baltimore Tuskegee Alumni Club is very sad to inform that our beloved member, Dr. Julius Chapman passed away yesterday, October 24, 2023, after a lengthy illness. He was a true Tuskegean. He served faithfully at the local and national levels. He was an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He was an avid educator in Baltimore serving as Dean of Education at Coppin State University and was Towson State University's first Dean of Minority Affairs. He was honored in 2019 with a bronze bust for his leadership, service, and tenacious work as Towson's Dean from 1969-1981. Towson's Quadrangle where students gather was also named in his honor. He will be missed. We will inform you as we are made aware of any services. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
